"This was my first time doing aerial, and Leah did such a great job of creating a welcoming learning environment. Within an hour and 15 minutes we did a warm up, learned some moves on the silks, and did a cool down. Everything was explained clearly and I felt comfortable learning at my own pace. Can't wait to do it again!"

"Leah hosted a virtual yoga session for our corporate event to celebrate International Women’s Day. We had 20 women join from 4 different countries and Leah led us through a 60 minute session that ended with sound healing during shavasana. Leah’s practice is extremely relaxing, she know exactly how to lead you into a meditated state that helps you fully connect with your own practice. Everyone enjoyed this session and we hope to invite Leah to practice with us at future events! I highly recommend her!!!!"

"I was a student of Leah’s when I was first starting aerial- Silks and Lyra- and I recommend her highly! I appreciate how she would push us individually and as a class, she kept us focused, and she always had a positive attitude. She would add creative ideas to even simple things like how we picked up the silks. She demo’d everything, answered our questions, and was patient and encouraging. I remember she gave me a good tip to reach more with my legs more while in a split and that helped improve the look and feel of it. Leah’s a true leader and an excellent teacher. You’re lucky to work with her!"

What should I wear to an aerial class?
Wear form-fitting, comfortable clothing that covers the back of your knees and your midriff. Avoid loose clothing, jewelry, and zippers that can get caught in the fabric.
Do I need to be strong or flexible to start aerial arts?
No prior strength or flexibility is required to start. Aerial classes are designed to build these attributes over time with practice.
What should I expect in my first aerial class?
Expect a warm-up, instruction on basic skills, time to practice on the apparatus, and a cool-down. Instructors will guide you through each step.
What should I bring to an aerial class?
Bring a water bottle, a notebook, and a positive attitude.
What is the difference between aerial silks, lyra, and trapeze?
Aerial silks involve performing on two long pieces of fabric, lyra (aerial hoop) is a circular steel apparatus, and trapeze consists of a horizontal bar connected to ropes.
How long does it take to learn basic skills?
The time it takes to learn basic skills varies for each person, but with consistent practice, many people see progress within a few months.
